LANGARGAH in maritime culture meaning, an "anchorage" is a safe place in Persian. A place where ships stop after a tumultuous journey so that sailors can rest, review the treasures of the journey, talk to each other, and draw a new map for the path ahead.
We Inspired by this original concept, we believe that the maritime economy, this vast and risky realm, needs such a space for exchange of ideas, reflection and synergy. The Sail Anchorage is a place for all actors in this field to come together, think and share their knowledge to advance Iran's maritime industry, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The center of gravity of our research and analytical activities is the specialized journal "Economy and the Sea". This journal is a platform for publishing analytical articles, field reports, specialized notes, and the latest news in the field of maritime economics.
2. Global Ecosystem Monitoring: Global Maritime Startups Report
One of the most unique activities of the Anchorage is the publication of an annual report on the state of maritime startups in the world. In this reference report, we introduce the most innovative startups in this field, their business models, the technologies used, and global trends. This report is a valuable roadmap for domestic activists, investors, and those interested in entrepreneurship in the maritime sector.
3. Creating a space for dialogue and networking: promotional events and meetings
We believe that many great ideas are sparked by collective discourse. To this end, the Langargah Working Group organizes specialized events, brainstorming sessions, educational webinars, and empowerment workshops.
